After their highly anticipated return in Brooklyn last year, staged reading show Letters Live is back in New York City with a new lineup and new stories to be told. From May 31 to June 2, three live shows were hosted at The Town Hall in the Theater District in partnership with Montblanc.
Ever since 1906, the luxury Maison has championed the art of handwriting, which is also valued by Letters Live. With each one-of-a-kind show, audience members enjoyed remarkable performances from authors, musicians and actors across the industry. The art of performing and interpreting written correspondences for an audience is not only memorable, but moving for the community and beyond.
“At Montblanc, we’ve always believed in the lasting power of the written word, especially its ability to convey emotion and connect us in deeply human ways,” said Stephanie Radl, Global Director Brand Relations and Communications at Montblanc. “Hearing a letter read aloud reminds us of something irreplaceable: the voice, the feeling, the story behind each word. As a proud partner of Letters Live, we have the unique opportunity to bring the words of authors past and present to broader audiences and hopefully inspire people to express themselves by putting pen to paper.”
